As the Paris 2024 Paralympic Games continue, here’s a roundup of today’s exciting events:

Para Athletics:

  • At Stade de France, Australian James Turner set a new world record in the men’s 400m T36 final with a time of 51.54 seconds, beating New Zealand’s William Stedman who took silver, and Argentina’s Alexis Sebastian Chavez who won bronze.
  • Turner, who struggled with glandular fever earlier in the year, said winning felt amazing and surreal after overcoming many challenges.
  • Brazil’s Yeltsin Jacques also set a new world record in the Men’s 1500 T11 final with a time of 3:55:82.

Para Equestrian:
