Hamzah Sheeraz Wins Middleweight European Title Against Tyler Denny

British-Pakistani boxer Hamzah Sheeraz won the Middleweight European Boxing title after defeating British boxer Tyler Denny on Sunday.

The undefeated middleweight knocked Denny down twice before winning by technical knockout at London’s Wembley Stadium.

In the first round, Sheeraz landed a right cross and left hook that knocked Denny down for the first time. In the second round, Sheeraz knocked him down again with a powerful left hook. Although Denny managed to get up, the referee, Mark Bates, stopped the fight.

Sheeraz, 25, remains undefeated with 21 wins from 21 fights. Earlier, in May, he beat Austin “Ammo” Williams at an event in Riyadh.

Along with the European title, Sheeraz has won the Commonwealth and WBC ‘Silver’ titles.

Denny, 33, now has a record of 19-3-3, and his six-fight winning streak came to an end with this defeat.
