T20 World Cup 2024: List of players with most runs, wickets, sixes after 49 games
Defending champions England are the first team to cement their place in the final four
The T20 World Cup 2024 has entered a crucial stage where teams are vying for the semi-final spot while competing in the Super 8 round.
The defending champions England are the first team to cement their place in the final four while three spots are left.
All matches of Super 8 are being played in West Indies where the pitches are a lot more batting-friendly than the ones in the United States (USA) as we saw some of the low-scoring thrillers.
Despite 41 matches being played so far, not a single batter could score a century as the highest individual score of the tournament was posted by West Indies’ Nicholas Pooran when he scored 98 runs against Afghanistan before losing his wicket with a runout unluckily.
Only Australia (201) managed to cross the 201-run mark when they battered the English bowlers in Barbados.
Meanwhile, if we look at the individual stats, Afghanistan’s Rahmanullah Gurbaz is leading the list of highest run-getters.
