Pakistan Team Arrives in Zimbabwe for White-Ball Showdown

BLANTYRE: The Pakistan cricket team arrived in Zimbabwe on Wednesday to play a One-Day International (ODI) and T20I series against the hosts.

A group of 10 players traveled directly from Pakistan, while others from the recently concluded T20I series against Australia joined the squad in Zimbabwe via Dubai.

The squad includes key players like captain Mohammad Rizwan, Salman Ali Agha, Haris Rauf, Muhammad Irfan Khan, and Haseebullah Khan. However, senior players such as Babar Azam, Shaheen Afridi, and Naseem Shah were not selected for this series, giving younger talent a chance to shine.

The team, led by Rizwan, will take a rest day on Thursday before the series begins.

The white-ball action will kick off with three ODIs scheduled for November 24, 26, and 28, followed by three T20Is on December 1, 3, and 5.

Pakistan’s T20I Squad:

Ahmed Daniyal, Arafat Minhas, Haris Rauf, Haseebullah (WK), Jahandad Khan, Mohammad Abbas Afridi, Mohammad Hasnain, Muhammad Irfan Khan, Omair bin Yousuf, Qasim Akram, Sahibzada Farhan, Salman Ali Agha, Sufyan Muqeem, Tayyab Tahir, Usman Khan.
