The Pakistan cricket team management expressed disappointment after their 10-wicket loss to Bangladesh in the first Test in Rawalpindi, according to sources who spoke to Geo News on Tuesday.

In the first Test, Pakistan used four pacers—Shaheen Afridi, Khurram Shahzad, Mohammad Ali, and Naseem Shah—hoping their pace attack would succeed. However, the Bangladeshi batsmen performed well and dominated the game.

The team management and senior players were unhappy with the pacers’ performance. They felt the bowlers didn’t make the most of the grassy pitch and were also concerned about their decreasing pace.

During the first innings, Pakistan’s pacers took a total of seven wickets, but Bangladesh scored heavily. In the second innings, Bangladesh chased down Pakistan’s 30-run target easily with Zakir Hasan and Shadman Islam quickly securing the win.
