PAK vs BAN: Rain likely to play spoilsport in Rawalpindi Test

Aug 16, 2024

The first Test between Pakistan and Bangladesh, set to start on August 21 in Rawalpindi, might be affected by the weather.

The Pakistan Meteorological Department forecasts rain for all five days of the match, from August 21 to 25. This rain could disrupt the game and has also delayed preparations at the venue, with ground staff yet to start working on the pitch. The final decision on which pitch will be used is still pending.

Both teams are preparing for the match but are hoping for better weather to avoid interruptions.

The Test series includes two matches: the first in Rawalpindi from August 21 to 25, and the second in Karachi from August 30 to September 3.
