Virat Kohli has become the fastest player to reach 27,000 international cricket runs. He achieved this milestone on day four of India’s second Test against Bangladesh at the Green Park Stadium in Kanpur.
Kohli took only 594 innings to reach this mark, surpassing the previous record held by Sachin Tendulkar, who reached 27,000 runs in 623 innings. Other players who have passed this milestone include Kumar Sangakkara of Sri Lanka and Ricky Ponting of Australia.
