Former England captain Nasser Hussain has criticized the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) after Babar Azam was left out of the second Test against England.

The second Test between Pakistan and England is scheduled to take place today (Tuesday) in Multan.

Hussain pointed out the inconsistency within the PCB, saying that it makes the future of Pakistan’s national team uncertain. He highlighted that there have been too many changes in the team and leadership, making long-term planning difficult.

“Pakistan has had 27 selectors replaced, frequent changes in board leaders, and team captains switched often, which has caused instability,” he said. “No organization can succeed with so much disruption.”

Hussain also expressed disappointment over Babar Azam’s exclusion after just one poor performance. He argued that decisions like this should be made before or after a series, not in the middle of it.

“The problem isn’t with players like Babar Azam, Shaheen Afridi, or Naseem Shah. The real issue is with how Pakistan cricket is being managed,” he added.

The former captain and commentator also said that the PCB keeps making decisions that hurt the progress of Pakistan cricket
