Carlos Brathwaite Named Lahore Qalandars Captain for Inaugural Global Super League

Former West Indies skipper Carlos Brathwaite has been announced as the captain of Lahore Qalandars for the inaugural Global Super League (GSL), set to begin on November 26.

Brathwaite, who has been a key player for the Qalandars over the years, brings extensive leadership experience to the two-time Pakistan Super League (PSL) champions. Speaking about his new role, Brathwaite expressed confidence in the team’s ability to excel, particularly given his familiarity with the playing conditions in Guyana.

“It’s a great honor to captain Lahore Qalandars. I’ve built strong bonds with this team and am excited for the challenge ahead. Knowing the conditions in Guyana, I’m confident we can perform well and make a strong impact in the tournament,” said Brathwaite.
