Bangladesh bowling coach opens up on plans for second Pakistan Test
Bangladesh’s pace bowling coach, Andre Adams, talked about their plans for the second Test against Pakistan, which starts on August 30 at the Rawalpindi Cricket Stadium.
In the first Test, Bangladesh beat Pakistan easily, chasing down a 30-run target after dismissing Pakistan for 148 in their second innings. Zakir Hasan and Shadman Islam quickly guided Bangladesh to victory in just 6.3 overs.
In an interview with The Daily Star, Adams said he doesn’t know what kind of pitch they’ll have for the second Test, but he stressed the importance of patience in Test matches in Pakistan. He mentioned that their strategy might remain similar to the first Test unless Pakistan makes changes to their team.
When asked about specific plans for key Pakistani players like Babar Azam and Mohammad Rizwan, Adams said it’s important to pay special attention to such players because they can change the game. However, he didn’t reveal their exact plans for getting these batsmen out.
